Good morning world! Thank God it's Friday! Today is December 21, 2012 and it's around 10:12AM here in Dubai. No, I'm not dead yet nor did I turn into a zombie or something. Haha! In short, the Mayans got it all wrong. These Apocalypse tweets doing the rounds all over the internet are cracking me up big time. Anyway, my ten-day vacation officially starts today, so waking up stress and worry free this morning felt amazing.
The world did not end today, but it does mark the end of a cycle in the Mayan calendar (or Guiness World Records' longest troll ever to some people) so in a way, it feels like New Year's Day — a happy new beginning. Perfect time to start over, to take a step back and figure things out better, to turn over a new leaf, to dream bigger, to love more, and to live more. Let's celebrate life!
