Oh hello there! I can't believe January is almost over! We're still currently experiencing one of the chilliest months ever here in the desert that driving to work through thick fogs has become quite a common experience every morning. It's incredibly insane and not to mention a little dangerous. Really scared me in the beginning.
Anyway, I laid low in the blogging front this month like a lot. But you know what? It felt nice to plug off for a little while and not get so worked up on having to document life online. Fortunately, I was also able to do and accomplish a lot of things during this welcomed period. The apartment is finally coming together, have finished quite a handful of fulfilling side projects (and still have several lined up), and looks like new opportunities are in the horizon. Just hoping I can keep the ball rolling in the upcoming months. I've never been this excited! :)
This month has been all about regular jogging at night, more home-cooked meals, chicken shawarma Wednesday nights, coffee dates, trying out new hair products, weekend drive to Abu Dhabi to visit family (and friends!), and getting used to now being referred to as Ugly Betty all thanks to my new prescription glasses.
