French novelist Gustave Flaubert probably said it best ― “Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world,” and I couldn't agree more. The thing that I love most about traveling is the humility it gives you. When you go out for an adventure, you realize just how vast the world is and how insignificant your silly problems are. On top of that, I'd like to think that it has also deeply strengthened our bond as a couple.
Our love for adventure is probably the one thing that my husband and I enjoy doing together the most. We love to travel and explore new places because this is when we always manage to find our common ground. We might argue on the silliest things, but I especially enjoy debating with him over where to go next and when to plan our vacation.
I’d like to think that out of the countless adventures we've experienced together as a couple, nothing still tops the day we decided to get married.
