...With White Sneakers

I'm in a total white sneakers phase a lot these days. Admittedly, it's my chronic lazybones that brought me to this point in my life. I guess I've just had enough of those "what should I wear?" moments every morning. Still working on applying the same uniform philosophy to my entire wardrobe though. It's a struggle, but I'm positive I'll get there (hopefully still in this lifetime). 

A pair of white shoes is just incredibly comfortable, goes well with practically any outfit in your closet, and so easy to work with. Yes, wearing white is a little high maintenance since it's a pain to clean, but it's a classic that never goes out of style. I'm just lucky to be working in an industry that allows me almost absolute freedom when it comes to dressing up. Whether you're the denim pants wearing or Sunday dress strutting type, you can always count on a cool pair of white sneakers. Here are five of the best white shoes on the planet ever.

... With Lip Products

Did you know that it was International Lipstick Day two days ago? Yes, there is actually such a thing. I actually heard about it only when my lovely friend Jerin posted it on her Instagram. I got inspired by her pretty photo, so I thought of dedicating today's Friday Love post to this tiny beauty product that's been a constant favorite among women.

Here are five of my favorite lip products of all time. I said lip products since some of them are not actually lipstick. One's a lip gloss and the other's a lip balm. :)

I have been addicted to these Burt's Bees lip balms since 2008 ever since my friend Apple gifted me with one. These are literally little lip savers and I can't go anywhere without one of these. I even have one on top of my bedside table within reach since I feel weird whenever my lips become dry. It's the only one that seriously tames my perpetually-chapped lips.

I gotta say that Inglot super matte finish lipsticks are my absolute favorite (Inglot #405 is a top choice because of its neutral shade). They're amazingly creamy, moisturizing, and also has Vitamin E. It's one of the more nourishing lipstick lines out there. The scent is quite yummy,  color stays for a long time, and they're paraben-free too. Win!

These tiny tubes of instant color have actually been around for the past 91 years, but wearing lipstick has been the thing since 5,000 years ago. I know! It's been that long! What's your favorite lipstick?

Hello everyone! It's my favorite day of the week! How's this Friday treating you guys? Mine is the freshly-brewed-coffee-new-book-loving-and-home-chilling kind and I'm enjoying it. Anyway, I chugged down quite a few cups of coffee yesterday, so naturally had a tough time hitting the sack last night. I decided to watch a movie instead of just staring at the dark ceiling like a crazy person.

... With My Baby Buttercup Blythe Doll

Weekend mornings feel so amazing, much more when it's the first day of a brand new month. Everything just feels so fresh. It's June, which means half of the year is almost over! :)

It's so weird that I instantly wake up extra early during weekends but can't manage to do the same thing during weekdays. I love cooking a hefty breakfast, sipping on a good cup of coffee and watching whatever's on tv on an early Friday morning. You only get two days so better get up and start early enjoying the weekend to the fullest, right?

Anyway, Baby Buttercup found a new toy car. She's drawn to anything shiny and bright, so she just wouldn't let this one go out of her sight. I think she wanted to take it for a drive but unfortunately even with her petite frame, she still wouldn't fit inside.

I have a new Blythe doll coming from Japan very soon. It's gonna be my first ever Neo Blythe so I'm really excited to see it. Time, please fly faster than ever! :)

One of my favorite people on earth — Apple, recently got engaged, so I've decided to dedicate my usual Friday Love post to her. She's like the coolest person I know and not to mention one of my oldest trusted friends, so I'm really glad her search for true love is finally over.

... With Pretty Nails

If there's a body part that I seriously want to change, it has to be my nails. They're very VERY short for their own good and they even resemble the nails of a little girl, which can be really quite frustrating sometimes. In order to look age appropriate I had to grow them extra long (which takes ages by the way).

I have never tried painting my nails before thinking that they would seem kinda awkward. But the other day, I was tempted to buy a set of mini nail polish from Claire's. They're pastels, which makes them perfect this season. Even spent a good two hours just browsing the internet for some nail inspirations and here are the ones that capture my heart best.
