Tarte Limited-Edition Magic Wands Brush Set
If unicorns, mermaids, and fairies wore make-up, this is definitely the brush set they would use. Tarte Limited-Edition Magic Wands Brush Set reminds me so much of the equally gorgeous Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection, but Tarte Cosmetics obviously sprinkled more fairy dust and amped up the magic in theirs. Every brush in this collection looks sparkly, colorful, and absolutely dreamy! I know I don't need them, but I want to have them all. These brushes are irresistible!

A trip to Yerevan in Armenia is definitely on top of my list. We were actually supposed to go last November for my pre-birthday celebration, but because of the limited flights not matching the dates of the public holiday announced, we've changed plans and decided to fly to Thailand instead. This year for sure!

Experiencing Darjeeling in India has been on my bucket list for almost two years now after I saw one random photo of the place online which totally blew me away. It's beautiful beyond words! Drinking Darjeeling tea while catching the sunrise in Tiger Hill sounds like my cup of tea (pun intended).

Ever since my husband and I talked about moving to a bigger two-bedroom apartment once our lease is up this May, I've been visualizing the many things we can have to fill up the future new space. Like this comfy Signature gray upholstered fabric sofa from Home Centre Dubai. He is almost convinced how amazing the 3 piece set-up would look like in our living room. #push
Speaking of gray sofas, I couldn't help but drool over the lovely living rooms regularly being featured on The Every Girl. I really wish I could pull off something like it (or maybe almost like it) once we get settled in our new apartment. Hey, a girl can dream!

I know this last one is quite silly and I'll probably tick this off this weekend already, but seriously I really need two cables for our phones in colors. We've managed to destroy atleast two cables and now we're always fighting over the one that's left. It's frustrating whenever my phone needs a recharge.

We are actually expecting quite a jampacked weekend and I can't wait. We're planning to see London Has Fallen with friends. Then we're off to a housewarming party in Abu Dhabi and a birthday party for another friend back in Dubai. Enjoy the rest of the week, guys! :)

What's on your wishlist?

The beautiful month of July has finally started, which means almost half of Ramadan is gone. But it also means the beginning of an end for me. By next month I'll be starting a new role in a new company and I still don't know the word to describe exactly this in-between phase I'm going through right now. Bittersweet maybe?

It's Wednesday and we're off to an Iftar with friends tonight, so while I wait for the sun to set and in the wonderful tradition of Wishlist Wednesday, here's a few of the pretty things I seriously want to snag (or experience).
The bookworm in me is in serious overdrive these days. I've been reading nonstop and it's awesome. Our reduced office timing because of Ramadan allows me to finally catch up with my reading goals this year. Speaking of books, the Harry Potter Paperback Box Set is a dream. I need these books in my life, so I can pass them on my children. Would you believe I succeeded in devouring the entire series by just borrowing copies from friends?

I'm currently finishing Jenny Han's To All The Boys I've Loved Before on my iPad so I can get on the second book from the series (which I already have) but I'm not enjoying the story. I guess nothing beats the look and feel of an actual printed book. Also on the look-out for a copy of Tell The Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt. I've read so many good reviews on this book and would really love to add this to my collection. The blurb looks promising.

My heart still beats for this gorgeous green bag that's been discontinued for atleast a year. Kate Spade should really bring back this fun color to their Maise bag collection. And don't you think this Modcloth Indie Darling Dress in Ivory goes well with a green bag? This number is perfection.

I've been obsessing over Korean series and music a lot for the past months, it's not funny anymore. Oh, Park Chanyeol, you're messing up this married woman's feelings like crazy. Can someone take me on a trip to Jeju Island like right now? Please? Maybe I'd eventually get over this fanatical phase once I've been there. Maybe.

It's almost Iftar time! Hope you're all having a blessed Ramadan wherever you are in the world. Hope all your wishes come true. Let's do good this July!

Wishlist Wednesday Special: 2013 Highlights

Happy Wednesday, everyone and Happy New Year! I'm extremely thankful for this year and beyond excited that we're welcoming a brandnew year again. So in the tradition of Wishlist Wednesday, I've thought of doing a different version of it today. Instead of listing down wishes like the usual, I would be sharing some of the major things on my wishlist that have actually come true in 2013.

Was able to finally fit into my bridesmaid's dress and attended my bestfriend's wedding in Sunny Manila last June. Truly one of the most beautiful and heartfelt weddings I've ever been to! I was the happiest friend.

On the same month, I also went on a short vacay to the Philippines and enjoyed sweet quality time with my family and closest friends, especially with my nephews and niece who keep on getting more and more awesome everyday.

Landed myself a job at one of my dream companies on May, and started a new cool chapter in my career on July. There's still so much I have yet to learn to be honest (barely 5 months!), but I'm really glad I've made this decision. So far so good. :)

Flew back and forth so many times also this year: Dubai, Muscat, Manila, Hong Kong and Tbilisi. There's just so many beautiful adventures out there waiting to be experienced! I just hope I'll have more opportunities to travel next year and be able to discover more places and learn more about different cultures.

Celebrated my birthday in a foreign country (Georgia) and got to play in the snow for the first time ever. I gotta say it's really one of the best moments in my life this year. It felt seriously incredible to be able to act like a kid again and not worry about grown-up problems for a day or two. Exactly the kind of escape I needed.

Falling in love again and again... always with this same man. As cliche as it may sound, but I'm really lucky I'm inlove with my bestfriend. There's just no better set-up! :)

While our family may have gone through a couple of major tragedies, 2013 actually did pretty amazing as a whole for me. Personally, a huge part of 2013 was all about adjustments, self-discovery, family, and just all-out gratitude. I'm so grateful that I managed to cross out so many incredible goals on my list this year and have made a lot of my dreams a reality.

So that's the year that was for me. How about you? How did your 2013 go? I hope you're just as lucky. Here's to wishing that 2014 will bring us tremendous amount of blessings in life and love. Happy New Year again! :)

What's on your wishlist?

I'm big on seafoam green and peppermint shades these days. I can wear a layered outfit in these shades even on a freezing winter day and still feel like I'm surrounded by the prettiness of spring. It's such a refreshing color combo that brings me into an instant smile. What colors are you currently crushing on?

1. A floral crown like this one on my wedding day? Yes please! | 2. This clutch will have me dreaming of pistachio flavored ice cream all the time. | 3. The colors and chevron print make this phone case a real winner.
4. Chiffon + lace = easy breezy pretty!

IN OTHER NEWS : This week is proving to be a tough one for me at work because the most amazing boss in the whole wide world ever has officially tendered his resignation. *cries* My workload has never been this crazy and with my boss now gone, the possibility that all my efforts will go unnoticed is so painful just imagining. But I'm still hopeful that the upcoming days will be a lot better. There's gotta be good news somewhere behind those clouds. Anyway, tomorrow is a non-working holiday here in Dubai, which means another super long weekend for me. Couldn't come at a better time. This is exactly what I need!

How's your week going so far?
